Georgi Traykov Monument

In 1974, the village of Dolni Chiflik was recognized as a town and was named Kamchia. In early 1975, after the death of statesman Georgi Traykov, who had worked in the area for a long time, the town was renamed Georgi Traykov. After November 10, 1989, by decree of President Zhelyu Zhelev, the town's old name was restored - Dolni Chiflik. Despite changes in regimes, names and ideologies, the monument is well maintained to this day.
