The Orthodox Church of St. Petka was consecrated on September 3, 2009 by His Eminence Metropolitan Kiril of Varna and Veliki Preslav. It is located in the centre of Shkorpilovtsi, opposite the town hall.

The funds for the construction of the temple were raised by Christian donations. The project is a donation from architect Simeon Saraliev. The building was constructed by Iliya Grozdanov and his team.
