"Kamchia" Reserve

Its territory includes the centuries-old dense forests in the lower reaches of Kamchia, in the land of the village of Staro Oryahovo and was created to protect the most representative forest of this species on the European continent. The unique climate and soil conditions create an exceptional wealth of tree and plant species, among which stand out the ancient field elms, ash, summer oak, field maple, etc., some of which reach a height of 35-40 metres.
