Municipal Cultural Institute - Museum

The Municipal Museum in Byala was founded in 2012 and is the newest museum in the Varna province. Its mission is to  preserve the cultural and historical monuments and traditions in the municipality of Byala for present and future generations.

Always on display are objects and artifacts, discovered during the excavations of the Late Antique Fortress at Cape St. Athanasius, as well as exhibitions from Byala's "White Cliffs" and an art gallery. The musuem's ethnographic exhibition has the maritime culture as its thematic centrе, showcasing  the different customs and traditions of the region.
